November class NOEL TAGS-update

Hi ho- for my November class we will be making these decoreative NOEL tags, this little box and a Share The Magic card!

October Class-Little Things

October 4th 2010 is the date of my next class. We will be making little cards, little boxes and little cards to hold gift cards. A total of six cards. Class starts at 6:00, at my house.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Flip Flap page

Today Ebony and I spent most of the day in my girl cave. I finished this layout of "Ameya Rocks." Pictures taken by her mother while they were in the UP for the forth of July. All materials used are from Close To My Heart. Layout from the latest Jeanette Lynton book "Magic." "Magic" is loaded with interactive page ideas. I used a new product-Flip Flaps to be able to add five more pictures to my 12 x 12 layout, adding two 8 x 12 pages. What a fun idea! Paper packet used is Magnigique. All items are in the latest catalog, $2.50.
I am thinking this kind of "page" will have to be a January class.

September Class

Things will be heating up in September! We will be trying some new techniques and it will "Clearly" be allot of fun!
We will be making five cards and stamping five envelopes. In this picture are four of the five-five is still on the drawing table-"Clearly" worth the wait.
Class will be TUESDAY September 7th, due to the holiday. Class starts at 6:00 at my house. Please bring adhesive, personal cutter, your choice of scoring tool, scissors and lip balm or lip gloss if you have some.

Girl Cave Weekend

Yesterday, Kevin and Nikki headed up to the UP, Eby and I headed down to my girl cave. You'd think with nothing to do, I'd get way more pages done then four....I enjoy scrapbooking too much to rush.
These layouts are from books by Jeanette Lynton. The HI HO layout is from her newest book Magic, which I don't even have yet, will be available September 1st. The Petoskey layout is from my favorite of her books, Cherish. All products used are available from Close To My Heart.

Christmas in August

I am trying something a little different for my August class. This class will be 40 Christmas cards and envelopes. Five of eight different styles of cards. Complete with SPARKLES!

Cost of this class is $25.00 and you must RSVP by Wednesday July 21st.
Class will be Monday August 2nd at 6:00, those of you getting out of work and want to come directly over, my door is open. You will need to bring plenty of adhesive, personal cutter, scorer.

A gift for a friend

I have been working on this book for a friend/student of mine whose birthday is next month, right after our class. I got the idea from isntthatsweet.bolgspot.com
Lorrinda tells you step by step how to build a book and points you in the direction of doing the research for all the trivia facts to put inside. The hardest part of this project is deciding what to put inside.

July's class of Monday night the 5th will consist of making this darling little tote and four sweet cards. You won't be disappointed. Meet Gabby, the youngest cropper at the crop. She could not learn and do enough. I think she was about nine years old. She got her mother into scrapbooking because she was doing it. Gabby won the grand prize at the crop-a suitcase bigger than her of all kinds of scrapbooking goodies.

June's Card Class!

Wow! I finally figured out just what I wanted to make in June-Four cards with fancy folds! We will be doing a tri-fold card, a flip card, a lattice fold card and a shirt card. Cute cute cute.

How sweet are these little refigerator magnets? And it was a great way to get rid of some 4 x 4 coasters I have had for years! People that made them, loved them!

A couple of projects from Stamp Camp

These are the accordion albums that I made over the weekend at Stamp Camp. The one of Zaydn is a 9 x 9 size. The other is 6 x 6 is made with the special kit, this month "Miracle" in celebration of National Scrapbooking Month. With a qualifying order, you can own the kit for only $5.00.(Contact me and I will tell you how.)

Door Prize

The makings of 60 little purses with a 1 x 1 stamp inside, attached my business card and being inserted into the goodie bags that will be given away by the Country Loft on May 1st, to the scrappers at Artesian Wells. Whewy! Now onto my door prize donation...I am so excited to be a part of their first crop and on National Scrapbooking day!

I am making Zaydn an ABC book! How fun it is coming up with two different images for each letter.

48 more weeks to work on it, maybe it will be his Christmas gift.

April's class will be making one of these flip/flap albums. I am not sure which pattern papers we will be using, I am trying to get ahold of some more of the "brights" as used in my Ameya album, see album in previous post.

Another Album for Ameya.

Again, while we were visiting, Ameya grabbed my camera, I just LOVE it! Through the eyes of a five year old. Grammy had tro make her another album. I am thinking this, or close to it will be my April class.

Zaydn Matthew

My first pages of Zaydn Matthew. Took me two days to finish these two pages, I am wondering-too many toys , too many options. Nothing was pleasing me so I am calling it good. He is so beautiful-my work doesn't compare.

March Class

March's class we will be making four cards and making matching envelopes! How sweet is that?!

Glass etching

My brother asked last month or so-"Have you tried glass etching with your Cricut?' Well, he recently had surgery sooooo....

I tried etching, cutting out a border of "lifesavers" and a "B" for the top of the jar that we filled with lifesaver candies. Makes a great gift!

February Class

We will be covering these little Valentine mailboxes--I even have some Hersey Nuggets to put in them and/or in your mouth.

Plus we will be making these little, purse size notbebooks with pockets and hopefully a calendar.
