Sympathy cards-January's class will be making six sympathy cards. Two of three designs.

Class is Monday January 4th, 2010 at my house. Cost is $12.00. Starting time is 6:00PM.

Please bring adhesive, personal cutter with scoring tool/blade and scissors.

Acrylic album

Just wanted to show someone what I had done with my acrylic album. Made the pages on the right, flip so the nose and hat are part of Ameya's disguise.

November Holiday Papercraft Class

Hi friends! Well, I thought I could take a couple of months off but I can't! I have got some wonderful ideas lined up....

Snow Flurries Card

Card I made using the new set Snow Flurries D1384
and Apen paper pack leverl II x7103B. Used Outdoor Denim ink for stamping and some navy brads. Sanded cardstock for destressed look. Trying to decide if this is "the ONE" for 2009.

These are little treats I thought I would make for when the day care children come trick or treating through work...I'd better get back to these, it'll be Halloween before we know it.

October Class

a couple of my Labor Day weekend creations

Pumpkins! Cutest little darn things. Made with the purple, oval, scallop punch and the yellow one. Punched 11 times, then sponged Bamboo ink around the edges, folded down the middle and glued together. Punched leaves form one of Martha's punches. The card is one of fout that I made for my friends who have September birthdays, all materials are CTMH.

September Class

Definitely not the best picture I have ever taken but...I just want to tease about my September class. We will be making two cards and two gifts for the upcoming Christmas season. I would've shown more but I am waiting for new stamps to arrive.

August SOTH plus!

These are half the cards I made using the Wishes (Close To My HEart)book cutting diagram "Just Because." With four sheets of cardstock and two sheets of B & T pattern papers, following the cutting diagrams, I made 20 birthday cards. I used only the August STOM "It's Your Day" (D1352) and "Happy Birthday" (C1257) stamp sets. Cardstock and B & T papers are from the Emporium and Emporium creative basics. All products used are Close To My Heart. Fun!

Christmas in July

I made this card yesterday-thinking I would come up with ideas for a Christmas card class in September. All products are Close To My Heart. Stamp set is December Word Puzzle, all the stamps used are from this set. Cuttlebugged the Ponderose Pine background, layered with cranberry.

3rd Place!

Yippie! I just discovered I won 3rd place in the May Close To My Heart contest! I had sent in one of my Internet Address books! Cool! $35.00 in new stamps for me-and a catalog coming out, what fun! (all products CTMH)

The start of a new layout

I found this pattern in the June 2009 Creating Keepsakes, you can download it from their site. I machine stitched the guitar strings, used one of those little wheel things to make an 1/8" border around the cranberry cardstock guitar with the black.
What will I do with it next...oh I have a plan.

Tropical Garden layout

A layout of pictures that Autumn took while in FLorida early May. Love the colors! Whoops-A-Daisy (CTMH) paper pack just seemed to go with it perfectly! I hand stitched a border around the picture on both of the pages.

A preview of August class

August class will be this Event Calendar. This is a great item to have and to give! We will decorate a page for every month and then you will be able to keep tract of those occasions you want to send card for.
Classes will be held Monday August 3rd and Monday, August 10th at 6:00 at my house. Please bring scissors, adhesive and personal cutter. Cost of this class is $15.00-a little more than usual due to cost of supplies. Please RSVP by July 20th so I can get calendars ordered. Thanks!

July 3, 2009 Hell-o I'm here

Hi, welcome to my new site. I am in the process of switching from my "Close To My Heart" site to this Blog. Though you won't be able to order "Close To My Heart" or "Scentsy" from here, you can always call or email me with an order and I will process it ASAP. It just doesn't make much "scents" to pay for a site when it isn't paying for itself.
